It only needs a 2.5 watt Power supply to print via its PCMCIA card connection. Now you can take your office with you. The MP MP-21C needs no power supply, only the PCMCIA slot on your notebook PC to print in full colour.
The printer only weighs 1,000 grams, about the same as a bag of sugar, but there is no need for a heavy mains adapter or battery pack to be carried with you. The simple connection via the PCMCIA slot on your notebook PC is all you need for the printer to draw both the power it needs, as well as the data.
The new Brother Ink system utilises only two cartridges for all four colours (Black/Cyan & Magenta/Yellow) which allows
longer life printing than many conventional ink cartridge systems, namely up to 250 A4 pages of black / cyan, at 5% coverage, & up to
150 A4 pages of magenta / yellow, at 5% coverage
