Easy-to-use User Interface

around the LCD monitor on the back of the camera.
1/2.7-inch, 2.11 megapixel CCD, 3x Optical Zoom (PowerShot A20)
The PowerShot A20 features a 1/2.7-inch, 2.11 megapixel CCD which can
record a 1600 x 1200 pixel image. In addition, it sports a 3x (equivalent
to 35-105mm in 35mm format) optical zoom plus a 2.5x digital zoom, giving
a total maximum zoom of 7.5x .
1/2.7-inch, 1.32 megapixel CCD, 3x Optical Zoom (PowerShot
A10)
The PowerShot A10 features a 1/2.7-inch, 1.32 megapixel CCD with a
numerical recording capability equivalent to about 80 percent of the PowerShot
A20. Added to that, it sports a 3x optical zoom (equivalent to 35-105mm
in 35mm format) plus a 2.0x digital zoom, providing a maximum zoom of 6.0x.
Direct Print to Card Photo Printer CP-10
Connecting the PowerShot A20 to the new Card Photo Printer CP-10 with
its dedicated printer cable enables you to print out images directly, selecting
Print Command to control the printer from the camera.
Use Standard AA Batteries
The PowerShot A20 uses standard, inexpensive AA batteries you can buy
anywhere . The camera can also use alkaline batteries as well as
NiCd, NiMH as secondary batteries. This gives you a variety of battery
choice to suit various shooting conditions and environments.
Software
To extend the cameras' capabilities, making them more versatile in
a wider-range of photo opportunities, Canon supplies a full range of software
and drivers with the PowerShot A20/A10. These include easy-to-use image-editor
ZoomBrowser Ex 2.6 (Win) and ImageBrowser 1.6 (Mac); PhotoRecord 1.2 for
easy layout and printing of multiple images; PhotoStitch 3.1 for seamless
panoramic shots; Remote Capture 1.3, to press the shutter directly from,
and transfer images directly to, your PC; as well as USB TWAIN Driver 3.6/USB
WIA Driver/Plug-In Module 3.6, and Apple QuickTime 4.1m image editor.
