The EMP-505 comes in a ultra portable B5 sized package which allows the user so much more flexiblility and freedom. Moreover, the EMP-505 incorporates a PC card that allows you to present whenever or wherever you choose effortlessly. Together with the SlideMaker software application, you may never need to use a PC again during presentations.

PC Less Freedom
This Slidemaker software comes standard with the EMP-505. What the SlideMaker does is that it helps you to create presentations with a combination of different file types (PowerPoint?, JPEG, Bitmap) and present all of this in 1 file! This is so user-friendly that all it takes to create a presentation file is simply dragging and dropping a file into the SlideMaker application. Save your file to a PC Card and slot into either the EMP-505 or the EMP-715 and you can now present without a computer. Now this is smart, flexible presenting done with style!

Panel-On-Prism (POP)
EPSON�fs POP technology ensures that your projector always produces crisp and clear images for a long time. Unlike traditional mechanisms, which has a high risk of pixel misalignment after years of use, EPSON projectors never encounter such problems because our LCD panels are fixed directly on the prism, thus eliminating any potential panel movement.

Auto Setup - plug and present

DAR (Digital Active Resizing) Technology
EPSON�fs revolutionary DAR adds more versatility and compatibility as it can support a wide array of resolutions with its advanced resizing technology.  SVGA (800x 600) projectors can support up to SXGA (1280 x 1024) resolution while a XGA (1024 x 768) or SXGA projectors support up to UXGA (1600 x 1200) resolution. 

Brilliant HDTV Image
HDTV is the new standard for the coming years and EPSON is in the forefront of this technology as EPSON projectors are HDTV-ready (supports digital broadcast standards of up to D4) and equipped to produce brilliant and perfect HDTV images.

Presentation Support Tool
With the push of a button on the remote controller, the built-in effect function allows you to select the cursor, highlighter, underlining or the spotlight features to bring out the best that your presentation has to offer. 

Electronic Keystone Correction
This EPSON projector is equipped with a function that electronically corrects the trapezoidal keystone distortion of the projected image formed when the image is projected upward onto a high screen or projected downward to a lower screen.

E-ZOOM Brings Out Your Big Ideas
Now you can effortlessly scroll to enlarge any particular segment of your presentation to a full screen (16 times larger than the original size) to enhance your pitch. In addition, the amazing resizing capability of EPSON�fs DAR technology gives you totally smooth visual images which make the usual rugged notches look invisible. 

Picture-In-Picture
EPSON now equips its projectors with a picture-in-picture function that enables video to be projected within a PC presentation and create powerfully persuasive presentations. You no longer need to toggle between 2 sources when you combine different materials in the same slide.
